INNO-EXFO AKN PEEL
A modern peel tailored to the needs of oily and inflammatory acne-prone skin. This type of acne, in addition to excessive sebum production and disorders of keratinization, is characterized by the overgrowth of Cutibacterium acnes bacteria. To help combat skin imperfections resulting from these issues, such as comedones, papules, and pustules, AKN PEEL uses a combination of three acids. Salicylic acid and pyruvic acid provide exfoliation, cleanse, and tighten the skin pores while reducing sebum production. They remove existing acne lesions and prevent new ones from forming. The third component, mandelic acid, has strong antibacterial properties, anti-inflammatory effects, and prevents excessive skin dryness.
AKN PEEL is a layered peel, and its strength and depth of penetration depend on the number of layers applied. The treatment is suitable for year-round use.
Active Ingredients:
- Salicylic Acid - A BHA (beta-hydroxy acid), which is number one in the fight against acne. As a fat-soluble acid, it penetrates and cleanses skin pores. Additionally, it exfoliates, acts as an antibacterial, and soothes inflammation.
- Mandelic Acid - An AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid), which improves skin condition, hydrates, and softens it. It rebuilds elastic fibers and increases skin elasticity. It reduces the visibility of wrinkles, lightens pigmentation spots, and discolorations.
- Pyruvic Acid - An alpha-keto acid that, due to its small molecular size, easily penetrates the epidermis. It is used in cosmetics as an exfoliating agent, regulates sebum production, and stimulates the formation of new collagen fibers.
Indications:
- Oily skin with a tendency to acne
- Inflammatory acne
- Regulation of sebum production
- Hyperkeratosis
- Clogged pores
